Ovosi Clothing are an underground fashion brand with a unique personality and style. Their brand has roots in club music and they’ve done a lot of cool things on the music scene, which made it a really fun brand to work with!
They were looking for someone who understood the Facebook & Instagram platforms who could get their products and messaging in front of the right people and convert them into customers.
The Approach
The strategy started with what is always the most important thing… The customer!
I used my customer matching process to figure out exactly what their ideal customer was interested in and used this to get laser focused on our targeting so that we could find the pockets of buyers who would love the brand.
I took the awesome creatives that Ovosi had been making and used this to fuel our testing campaigns, as soon as we started it was clear that there was a demand for their product and we had gotten off to a great start, being profitable right out the gates. What a thrill!
I knew that retargeting was going to play an important element in something like fashion as people are picky about what they wear. So this part of the funnel had to be nailed down into a customer converting journey before we started to really scale. I used vigorous testing in the bottom of our retargeting funnel and tweaked our messaging to overcome customers objections.
Now that we had a solid base it was time to work on the retention part of the business, We used customer data to show people who had bought from the brand before, new and exciting products which they loved and created ad campaigns that would continue to show these people new products.
Now that I was happy with where we were at and understood what was working it was time to consolidate all our winning assets and start to scale.
